"A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety" – Ansel Adams
Hi Leya
sorry for my late answer; some problems with my computer..just fixed! This is located in Sefton Park (Liverpool); you could read more about the park (and the palm house) here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sefton_Park#Palm_House.
I must say that you have made me very curious about the palm houses in Sweden..Do you know that Liverpool use to have a very important Swedish community?..And one of the oldest and most famous pubs in Liverpool is called…Baltic Fleet (http://www.balticfleetpubliverpool.com/index.html)?
Got it. I see your point..Have a look at the Palm House from Kew Botanical Garden – the biggest in UK – and you will see how similar these are (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Botanic_Gardens,_Kew). Must be the fashion of the decade…wrought iron during Victorian times.
Many thanks for pointing it out.O.
